Much of my work looks at the physiology, psychology and culture surrounding human relationships with insects and our environments. I research the direct and indirect impact we have on them based on our unconscious environmental decisions. The work looks at our ideas surrounding invasion, infestation, paranoia, and death. I also create the work to express the beauty behind the grotesque as it relates to unregulated growth and non-domesticated creatures like insects.
